Charleroi

Charleroi is a city in continuous transformation. Traces of its industrial past coexist with signs of renewal, creating a fragmented landscape caught between decay and change. In the spaces in between — along roads, canals and residential areas — the city reveals a quieter, more vulnerable side.

Buitengesloten (Excluded)

For people experiencing homelessness, public space is not simply a place to pass through, but a place to live, and one where exclusion is always present. Buitengesloten (Excluded), my graduation project at Fotoacademie Amsterdam, explores how urban space determines who is welcome and who is not. Wandering through cities, I collect images, observations and stories from people I meet on the street. Together, they explore how places are experienced, remembered and imagined.

Ghosted

Ghosted is an ongoing photographic project exploring absence, memory and the traces left behind when someone suddenly disappears from your life. Through self-portraits, domestic spaces and nocturnal images, I revisit an experience from twenty years ago, searching for what remains when a relationship ends without explanation.

Trainwriter

A trainwriter is a graffiti artist who paints trains. For Trainwriter, I followed one of them into the night. The series is less about the act of painting itself and more about the tension, concentration and adrenaline surrounding it and the pull of a world that usually remains hidden.
